THE HISTORY
The tasks of consulates are regulated under international law in international treaties, including the Convention on Consular Relations of April 24, 1963. An honorary consul primarily represents the interests of his sending state. He plays an important and responsible role in promoting economic cooperation, establishing and maintaining trade relations, promoting cultural and social projects and supporting cooperation between ministries, authorities and public institutions.
In the defined sustainable development goals of the United Nations, which were jointly adopted by 193 countries at the UN General Assembly on September 25, 2015, SDG 17 is particularly important to us.
It gave us the impetus to found the Interconsular Council and build bridges safely and transparently at intergovernmental level.
It is the mission of the ICCDA to work together for sustainable global economic growth and the achievement of the defined goals for the benefit of the citizens and thus to contribute to the stabilization and creation of security in the countries.
The direct connection of the consuls to the political as well as to the business and corporate structures in the countries enables direct connections at the highest level and highly efficient negotiations, which make the implementation of individual goals tangible.
The involvement of international experts from the financial sector, industry and science as well as the professional linking of all parties involved turn visions into reality.
