The main task of the commission is to promote international economic cooperation. The Economic Commissions are being established in each country with all the necessary expert committees and staffed by specialists from the countries and abroad.
Within their organisational structure, the committees deal with, among other things, economic policy, domestic and international transport, trade, innovative technologies and sustainable energy.
Through the International Economic Commission and its various subdivisions, the ICCDA offers its member states a forum for dialogue and cooperation between industry and politics on all economic issues.
It also prepares economic analyses and advises governments of member states. In coordination with the Executive Office and independent certification partners, the Commission sets standards and norms to facilitate international economic cooperation.
