INTERCONSULAR COUNCIL
WELCOME
Welcome to the ICCDR - Interconsular Council for Crisis and Disaster Response.
After signing a declaration of intent to establish a special council for crisis and disaster relief during the World Economic Forum 2024 at the SDG Lab in Davos, Switzerland, the official step has finally been taken.
On October 9, 2024, the intergovernmental organization UnASDG, represented by President Senator Patrick Meyer and Vice President Senator Hans Pflanz, the Honorary Consul of Panama Mr. Michael Häckel, and the Honorary Consul of Jamaica, Mr. Jörn Follmer, jointly established the intergovernmental organization at the Honorary Consulate of Panama in Munich, Germany.
A committee of nominated consuls from various countries will now take on the challenge of supporting and maintaining relevant measures in the areas of prevention, relief and reconstruction, as well as the economic stabilization of countries, economic growth and sustainable development. The aim is to secure public life at all levels in the long term and to do everything in one's power to ensure this.
Close and trusting cooperation between the consuls of countries, states, international organizations and institutions, as well as selected experts in the fields of finance, technology, science and security, is the key to success worldwide.
ICCDR is the link between business, aid organizations and politics, and focuses on crisis and disaster relief, which the Interconsular Council is committed to worldwide, with a high level of dedication and experience.
